Both of your figs look delicious! I guess bird netting can't stop the bees! Bummer! Suzi

I use row covers( 5'x50') - got them from amazon . Its a fabric that covers planting rows, bushes etc. to keep out insects ,also frost protection , allows light and rain in. You can cut it to size. It will trap in heat and moisture , so just be aware of that. They are reusable . I have potted figs so I used tall plant stakes 3-4 in a pot , draped the row cover over stakes and enclosed tree , secured openings with tiny clamps I found in Home depot - like clothes pins ! U pins can pin fabric into pots if needed. Seems to be working , not only for bees , but for birds too! Funny thing is , they look like ghost trees! Your figs look great !

I don't mind sharing some fruit , but the hornets are very aggressive. Could not locate any nests, must be in a neighbors yard. Suzi, yes both varieties are producing nice tasting fruit, each with their own unique characteristics. Angelo

Luke, I took a piece of freshly baked bread and ate it along with a dozen figs. It was pure enjoyment. Angelo
