Hey Frank!  My Atreano died last year too.  I guess the back to back consecutive 5 degree temps in my area took a toll on my tree.  My tree use to span 8 feet wide!  It was a monster!  It's growing in the perfect spot....on a hill. The tree was also 7 feet tall.  I was worried about the fast growth rate until now.  Today, it is coming back from the root system.  This year, I plan on winterizing it.  The past 5 years I did not and today it is struggling.  My tree was so prolific!  We will see how it does next year.

Thanks very much Steve,Frank and Herman. They look seriously similar to both Conadria and Atreano. I ve also seen some pics of white Triana that has very similar characteristics. Is there a chance that all the above are related?

Hi Everyone,

I'm looking for authentic cuttings of Belleclare Atreano. I'm just starting out new with figs and have a couple under my belt now, but I'm looking for something a bit more. I've read up quite a bit on the Atreano, but it seems to now be hard to find out whether what I'm getting is authentic, and there are different types out there (Atreano, Atreano Gold, Atreano RR, Atreano FR).

If anyone has a source that they know to be authentic, or if anyone has cuttings available, I'd be willing to pay for postage and more.

This also goes for any cuttings that anyone has from other types of figs, as I'd like to expand my collection. Any advice on types that would be suited to my location is most welcome as well! (SE Michigan - Zone 6a/b)

This is my first post, I'm loving this forum! Thanks everyone!
