yes need wasp.wasp do not need to be professionally around the outside.

Are you sure they need a wasp for the main crop? The person from Turkey who sells them on EBay says they are self-pollinating common figs.

waynea, you may find your answer in this link http://figs4funforum.websitetoolbox.com/post/bardacik-5789112 I also have some very-very similar figs (still not sure about the variety) and mine do not need pollination I hope this helps.
