These bardaçik figs must be delicious !
Dr. Gustav Eisen spoke very highly of this variety  calling it one of the very best in the Aidin district-

By the way he also referred to a Black Bardaçik which together with the white one, were the finest of all table figs at the time (1901) in Turkey .
