Beall 2017

Very productive 3 yr old tree in 55 gal Sip. figs are large and honey sweet,

Very nice pictures, thanks for posting

Thanks for posting Peter, my Beall is loaded with figs right now as well, which was really piquing my curiosity as to what "the final product " will look like lol! However they have not quite moved into the swelling phase yet, so thank you for giving me a picture of what I have to look forward to! They do look very good and different from other figs Ive had already this year.. Would you say its comparable to any other variety? The mid August ripening time is another plus for us short season growers :)

Jamie,
Beall is like a combination of peters honey and Sicilian white, very sweet and juicy.

The plant and figs look great!

You have a nice tree there.

I think this is a beautiful fig. I picked my 1st one yesterday. Hurricane Harvey dumped 7 inches of rain over the weekend so keeping my fingers crossed this one isn't sour. I'm leaving it on out on the counter for a couple days then in fridge overnite. It's what I do to get better tasting figs.

Thank you Peter! That's great news to me since I do not have PH or SW, so it sounds like Beall will be something altogether new for me this year.. YAY! Looking forward to it even more now ;) Thanks again for the pics and experience you've shared with us on this variety
