Hi F4F,
Have a question, what is the best method to treat shipping shock?  Have a plant that spent no more than 2d in shipping, well packaged with other plants, but this particular one wilted in a matter of hours.  I immediately opened the box and unpackaged upon arrival of the package.  All the other plants are fine, some similarly packaged.  This one is in soil, clear bag with drain areas.  I want to repot, but don't want to shock it even more...thinking some stabilization is best. I checked moisture, didn't have to hydrate, I initially tented but had it indoors where it is cool (71 or 72), but then decided to move it to under my deck in a shaded area, but it is warm and humid.  It will not get any direct sun there, and very minimal indirect light since it is under my deck.   Thoughts?

Keep it in a shaded and humid area for few days. Do water it when needed and repot later after it has been stabilized. In past had plants shipped to me that were in the box for 2-5 days, did the same thing and they all survived.

Tenting, shade and do not overwater is the only way. I have had similar experiences and usually it was confined to plants that were potted not that long before shipping commences. The younger the plant, the more challenging the issues as described. Perhaps less package air space available has a role in impacting plant condition on arrival.

Also, the wilting could be a result of too much moisture in pot prior to shipping as well as poor air circulation. I received a plant yesterday that arrived in my mail box after 2 days in shipment from last saturday. I did not pick up plant since arrival on monday until yesterday(saturday) as I was busy. Plant was in perfect condition apart from lighter green shade to its leaves.  The packaging had a breather hole of about 3" and checking the moisture content, it was just a touch of moisture. Hence many factors do play an important role. Good luck.
