I never once named anybody I thought was the thief, just showing evidence. Let it fall on the guilty one.
Charlie please post this truth.....
Brian you have told so many lies you can't remember the truth anymore. I never once sold any cuttings to you or any figs starts of any variety. I never stated anywhere that I had bought Dr. Sid's old Orchard. Why would I do that when the current owner (Rock) has given me full permission to document the growing and fruiting characteristics of all of his trees? (Other fig growers who have little known O'Rourke special selections, have given me similar permission to study their mature trees.) I have full run of Dr. Sid's old orchard again with permission from the current owner. I could have sold thousands of cuttings from his trees (and other orchards that I study) if I was into figs to make money. As I stated many times before, I am a fig researcher and not a fig collector. You've got fig fever so bad you are seeing buildings that do not exist!
Need more proof you are a liar....shame on you Brian.
Here is a screenshot of a post of yours dated 7-20-2015......around the time two BB-10 fig starts were stolen from my front yard:
In that post above you claimed I sold BB10 cuttings to you at a very high price.......liar liar pants on fire. I thought you said earlier in this thread that you got them from the mother tree. Strange that two BB10 fig starts were STOLEN from my front yard prior to your post above.
Furthermore, right now Brian is selling a fig on eBay that he is calling LSU Strawberry.......as though it was an O'Rourke hybrid. Nothing can be further from the truth. Stolen Valor comes to mind..........Dr. Sid personally told me that Strawberry heirloom (which grows in his old orchard in the back right hand corner) originated from Abbeyville, Louisiana. It was brought over by Italian immigrants many years ago. I have pictures with its growing/fruiting characteristics on my Cajun Fig blog......and I still continue to study that tree. I wouldn't buy that LSU Strawberry fig variety because the Joe Hood Adriatic (JH Adriatic) is a much better fig.....which I've documented in detail on my fig blog.
Shame on you Brian for your lies and the disinformation that you have put out to the fig world. Now you know why I don't allow ANY fig collectors in my fruit orchards.

Please post........Here are pictures of the BB10 cuttings that I took this morning from the mother BB10 tree. These will be shipped shortly. We had several tornados in my area yesterday and I was not able to go get them in Baton Rouge as I planned. Notice these are almost all nice branch tip cuttings with quite a few having a branch notch on the bottom. FYI.....branch notch cuttings are the best for rooting. This is what cuttings should look like that come from a mature fig tree. Cuttings from young fig trees will look different.Cuttings from a young fig tree will contain lots of interior wood with few branch tip cuttings. The leaf nodes will usually be farther apart. Now I ask those who bought BB10 cuttings from Brian, how did they look? Did they have many tip cuttings as shown in this picture or much interior wood cuttings? Were they all nice tip cuttings....there are thousands on the mother tree. They should have been all tip cuttings if he really had access to the mother tree. Now if a Brian really has access to the mother BB10 tree that is in Gary Duhe's orchard as he claims, why didn't he sell hundreds more on eBay that looked just like the ones I got this morning? I left hundreds more on the mother tree this morning for Brian to go get them and list on eBay. They are selling fast at a good price. My Children International kids will be happy with the money from the ones I've sold. Thanks to all who bought cuttings from me.Brian your lies have caught up with you! Shame on you....DanSemper Fi-cus
Last word from me as I will forever disappear again from the fig world.....too many jealous, lying, hateful people. I don't need the affirmation of any fig collectors to validate my fig research work work. One thing is for sure; if Brian's claimed BB10 cuttings produce the real deal, I will be 100% sure that it was he who stole two fig starts from me.....and that is the source of his cuttings. Regarding his comment that he put a lot of time to find it is laughable, considering many peeps in my area know about Dr. Sid's old orchard (paw paw gene, eatmoreyeah, maybe Noss, and another pest exterminator man from Chackbay who's user name I don't recall) its location is no secret. The actual BB10 mother tree is located 50 miles away in Baton Rouge.....not in Thibodaux, La where Brian claims the mother tree is located. BB10 is growing in a private individuals side yard along side a couple of other fruit trees. It was not like Brian could go ask people in my area where he could find one of those BB10 fig trees. No one would know what he was asking about .......because I was the one who gave BB10 its name. No one in my area knows about that fig. Only a few forum people knew of its name. Sadly it appears Brian stole two fig starts from me.....and he is doubling down with his lies. I'm totally disgusted with the fig community.Hope all goes well with you and that you enjoy your figs as much as I do. Take care.DanSemper Fi-cusSent from my iPad
