Found a tree while on vacation the owner allowed me to pick a few breba and take a few leaves to try and identify the tree. I seem to think it is along the lines of a brunswick while others I have shown the leaves to have disagreed. You be the judge and give me your opinions. Very large breba fruit with closed eye, honey colored interior with a touch of pink on the tips of the flowers. could not weigh the fruit but it is very large... by the way the tree was unprotected last winter and was still loaded with breba and very small amount of freeze damage. Cant wait for the main crop as I was invited back to pick some for identification purposes. i like it for Brunswick. Only character missing is the medium, open eye. I also had one identical to yours that was given to me as Brown Turkey #2. Of course is not Brown Turkey of any kind so I called it by describing it. _Long Brown Honey_ It is a Brunswick type with a closer tighter eye. A better Choice if you want a fig for ornamental leaves,like Brunswick. I have problems with it ,because is getting ripe too slow on main crop inground here due to the lack of enough heat necessary to ripe properly here in NJ.
