That's incredible! Bursa means "purse" in Latin, I believe. These are misnamed. What is Latin for "Steamer Trunk"?

Welcome to the forum.
My friend, Bursa is a true Smyrna fig and without the wasp to caprificate it,...there will be no Bursas.

Bursa black has been dropping figs for me, it requires pollination. It is the top commercial fig in turkey for fresh fig market in Europe.

Bass  your right as i recall seeing that fig in past and was interested until i also heard it needs the wasp.
