Calderona -from M.Pons

From a late rind graft, a robust  Calderona whip shoot up with over a dozen figs on the following season
Still soon to correctly assess the fruit but these first,  were of a good size, sweet and very flavored

Thank you.  Good question!
Calderona is a Common type ...but the tree where this scion was grafted to, was exposed to wasp favors and I may say that they had an hand at it.  .. What can I do ?? Can't stop them !

Whether it is caprified or not, it still looks like a great fig!
