Calvert was amazing. Black Madeira had bit of tough skin. i'm sure it was due to my lack of watering of late.

Nice figs..Congrats!!
BM family of figs in their genuine surroundings with long dry Summers does harden their dark skins slightly and become a bit chewy. This is more than compensated by the tasty, sweet and rich insides
