CDDB 2017

One of my favorite, intense berry taste with a bit of crunchy seed rich and delicious. I love this so much that I have 3 in 55gal Sips and an inground tree. The only other variety that I have more of is the Black Madeira

Amazing variety that's for sure. It is so rich, even after I overwater.

Congrats Petechanr,
Nice pictures of a super fig. It seems early for CDDB, is it in a really favourable spot. In UK, my two year old is in a greenhouse but its three figs still look a bit off ripening.

This year all my late figs are ripening a month ahead of schedule, dont know the reason. I haven't done anything different from past years.

My figs are all early this year as well, but we did have a sunny and warm spring and early summer here so especially with the greenhouse they got a good start. Just checked in the greenhouse and my three CDDB fruit look bigger than yesterday so shouldn't be long.

Something is definitely off this year, take my Black Madeira for example. Last year I notice first figlet on 6-4 and it ripened on 9-24 which is +/- 110 days. This year first figlet 6-10 so on 9-10 would be 90 days. I have ripe BM now only 80 days.

Maybe it's global warming, no forget that too controversial.

Whatever it is I'll take it 👍

Pete your photos are awesome. Do you happen to have CDD B/N? If so do you have a picture with different color figs that are ripe on the same branch?

Impressive plants indeed. Figs looks like they show an almost slight yellow hue when ripe. Cant wait for this to take off for me! Thanks Pete.

Brian,

My CDDB-N makes both white and dark figs but so far I haven't seen both on the same branch. Maybe when the tree's older and production increases.
Here's pictures of both white and dark

Can't wait to try my CDDB, those look amazing. Thanks

Super! Thanks!

Excellent pictures!!!
The CDD-B, CDD-BN and BM cuttings I bought from you are doing very well. Looking foward to taste all of these varieties in the near future.
