My first taste of this nice little tree in a five gallon pot. The skin was very thing with no distinct flavor. Inside was a firm jelly like texture and as my wife described it, tasted like a date. I don't have a fix on this one. I would give it a 6.

Mike,

My first one this year was dry inside. Its shape was elongate and I am pretty sure it was a breba. I have a small main crop I hope will ripen soon, as I know this fig ahs more potential than this.
Thanks for posting.

Thanks for sharing. I'm starting to wonder how good this one will be in the South. Mine turned out better than ever this year. One is in the greenhouse and two others are outside. They all ripened in dry weather.
The other thing is that the figs seem to be all sizes and shapes.
I'm thinking it would be best for this one to be in-ground.
