I have some cuttings developing a slimy gelatinous consistency on the cutting. It is on several cuttings to varying degree. What is the slimy stuff? Do I need to put something in the water to eliminate slime?

You have alge growing you need to change the water clean the system out with bleach. Add peroxide to the next batch. And add it to it if it starts to get slimy in the future. I change my water weekly to eliminate this problem
