Can anyone tell me anything about this fig, Coito Algarvia? I tried known resources for it but came up with nothing.

The correct name of that variety is Côtio Branco (or Cótio Branco). Coito means intercourse in our language :-)

If the "Branco especial" i have is different from Côtio i wouldn't mind a few cuttings next winter :-)

Foreign languages make me smile sometimes when meanings are translated. I've been to Tahiti a couple of times and on some tours a rock that sticks up prominently on one island was always called Hiro's penis (I'm being polite saying 'penis'! lol) but tour guides were embarrassed or didn't want to embarrass tour guests, so they always said Hiro's thumb lol. There are several other names I won't bother you with but thank you for the info.
