Col de dame Grise pruning question

My tree last year produced lots of figs. This year just a few. Do I need to prune this tree to get it to produce. Has 5 branchs about 5 foot long each. Trunk is about 2 inches wide maybe a little less. Last year it was full of figs. They were not ripe but they were growing by now. Also does it produce breba. Thanks Richie

Hi Richie,

My four year old Col de Dame Gris grows like a shrub. Not sure why yours have only have one trunk. I might take a cutting here and there but this year without any pruning is the first time I see a couple of dozen figs. I'm reluctant to heavily prune it, and letting it do what it needs to do since it's in ground.
Edit : It's one crop and ripens very late in fall.

Thanks sas One trunk tree with 5 branchs. I think maybe it's early still Does yours have figs on it yet.
