Col de Dame Roja, fastest grower so far truly amazing!

I received this as a rooted cutting in early June it was maybe 5 inches, second pic shows you the thickness of the cutting when I got it, almost 2 months later, it tripled in thickness and grew 4 ft 7 inches! The most vigorous variety I've seen! Look at the roots at a total of about 3 months!

Very nice looking tree I've been waiting patiently for mine to produce some fruit hopefully this year

Very nice tree!
Figs are quite interesting and temperamental.
Around early May I rooted several low quality cuttings of Grantham's royal. All but 2 died. One is still hanging onto dear life but hasn't grown more than an inch.
The last one has grown nearly 3 feet and had to be repotted twice and is now in a 7 gallon container. All cuttings came from the exact same source.

Hi,
Nice tree ! Time to pot up too !
For the other one that doesn't want to grow there is only one remedy : give it a shot of fertilizer and keep it watered - sink or swim !
