Good Hot Sunday!
Multiple Conadria ready to pick as well. A few more hours of baking hot sun today should sweeten the pot.

Mark, Please provide some tasting notes. I'll be interested in what you find as the first two I've had this year are bland, bland, bland and slightly watery.

Mark, Can we see the insides of some of your figs please? Fig envy isn't complete without a little slobber running down your chin :)

All
yes of course, some internal shots to appear as soon as we pick and eat them! I'll attach one collage from early last week (25 Aug) of these figs, at that time labeled " unknown."
I'm finding these to be rather sweet, and " melony" flavored, quite tasty and delicious, no crunchy seeds.

It looks delicious. You had me all afraid you would have them down your gob before we got to see the insides. Thank you from those of us that need to see it all this year for lack of having our own :)

Hi nice figs how do you make the fruit ripen like that and not get eaten by birds etc?

Interesting......I had two since I last commented about an hour ago that were literally fall off the tree ripe. Seriously, they had fallen off the tree on their own, can't get much riper than that. Still fairly bland, maybe just a slight hint of sweetness. Mine are not as pink inside as Mark's. I am not at all impressed and may give this one up for adoption.

Here's a fresh picture, literally just picked 5 minutes ago. Only on the plate long enough for a quick snapshot. Cheers.

There is more than one strain of Conadria. My tree is per Durio's Nurserydescription. Very productive and pretty good if left to ripen fully. Have to get variant similar to Maro2Bear from my brother. Looks like the main crop on my tree is ready to ripen any time now.
