Rayvino, I use the Hormex liquid concentrate and I do not dip the cuttings. I only use it when I water. I water them in with it and then water as needed but it really seems to help with the up potting. An eighth of a teaspoon is kind of a guess - I don't really measure it. I just use a tiny bit well diluted. Better too little than to strong, I think. Hope it works for you.
