Isn't that just the best sight? It was so rewarding watching my kids eat figs. Hard to explain the feeling.

I just love it when someone posts pics or tells a story of their kids eating figs. It's nice to know the next generation will carry the fig torch in to the future.

She's adorable! And that's the best time to start their food education, early. I'm always blown away by people that have never tasted a fresh fig, only fig newtons. :(

Thanks Just Peachy, Pete and Danny! Danny, unfortunately I won't be able to make the drive to Marshal for August 10, a vacation to Florida looms... I hope yall have a good time and I know yall will post a bunch of pictures for all the members who can't make it. It was very nice meeting you at LSU field day though. I am heading out there today for a little bit to see if I can snatch up a couple of ripe Scott's Black figs for tasting.
