This fig grows very well in tropical climate.

There is no dominant time for plant.

I recently received one from a nice forum member.  I noticed your youngest leaves have pink petioles and mine has this feature as well.

Hey, figgy, DLR has grown well for me since being planted in my orchard two years ago.  It required a lot of patience, though, as it was slow to fruit.  My tree is about six feet tall and as wide and finally gave me one ripe fig this year!  It was good but I sure hope it becomes much more productive next year! :)
