My first and only breba for this variety this year. My De La Reina (MP) is still a young tree. Looking forward to more of the main crop figs.

They don't get much darker than that!  It must get lots of sun.  How was the taste?

Mild rich flavor for a first breba fig! My tree is very young. Last year it's main fig was excellent. I'm looking forward to more main crop figs this year. It is definitely a keeper.

De La Reina is a unique fig. It took almost two months to root an air layer off the mother tree.

Leon, my dlr is very small too, probably under 18 inches, it has more little figlets on it than any of the others at this point. Looking forward to the main crop..

That looks so good, I still have yet to taste a fully ripe fig from any of my trees. I'm definitely antsy for them to ripen

Paully- They are both excellent figs but DLR is larger. I think it has a richer taste but that's just my opinion and this is just a first breba for me.

Dennis- thank you. It's the camera!

FMD- and others, thank you. As more become ripe, I'll update the photos.

Looks very similar to a variety called "Niedda" (=black), very common in Sardinia.
This is a breba picked a few days ago:

Fico, Thank you for the post of your photo.
If possible, can you take a photo of the inside of this beautiful Niedda fig?
