Gardencrochet, please elaborate, contrast and expand regarding the Deanna. That is one of the green/yellow figs I plan to plant in the ground here in Zone 8B.  Does it rain during the fruit developing stage where you live?  Does Deanna split or sour?  Is your Deanna in the ground or in pot?  How winter hardy is it?

A March ice event killed mine. I was really looking forward to it. It was a bonus cutting that figfinatic gave me when I bought some Panache cuttings. The Panache suffered no damage.

This is a beautiful fig. The only other yellow fig I think is as beautiful is Mary Lane Seedless.
