I took this picture about three years ago. Figs from the hood. The owner said it was purchased at Lowes 15 years ago. Mike

No. IMO it looks more like a Hardy Chicago.But that's only my first guess with the one picture, more pictures would be helpful.

Hi Mike, It looks like Hardy Chicago to me,too. I just bought one from Lowes the other day.

Thanks for all the replys. I got a cuttng, well a bunch of cutting and only one took. I've got a bush now about six foot tall. The figs are excellent if i let them stay on long enough. The ants get to them before me sometimes. If it truly is HC, that's funny because I bought a "Chicago Hardy" from Lowes last week. The label said you can cross pollinate with other variates such as Black Mission etc. lol

That is funny. the common fig does not need pollination.
