Dropped fruit, pics included

My figs as mentioned in my previous post, grow to about a grape size, turn yellow, dry on the tree and fall off.
Can you identify the fig variety, is it also the variety that needs fruit wasp to pollinate? I don't think we've got the wasp in Las Vegas.
Any suggestions of how/is it possible to treat the tree to produce edible fruit?

In the second picture the fruit that appears white, is just about to turn yellow, it is really soft, feels kinda hollow

How are your watering habits? Do you water religiously during the growing season without skipping any days?
Do you provide adequate fertilization?
If you answered no to any of these two questions, then I would start by addressing these two basic requirements. If your figs remain this way for two seasons in a row, then I would look at whether you planted a Smyrna type fig trees.

Another thing that I might attempt to do is graft a couple of branches and see what kind of results I get. These look like honey type figs close to Lattarula or Marseilles to me.

More close up pix would help determine if they are caprifigs or smyrna types.

I'll try to get you some in the morning. I'm trying to figure out if this tree is worth keeping

Hi lvman,
The fruit in the first pic looks ripe and edible.
The second look like harvested too soon.
If both fell on their own -no dog or kid running against the tree-, you may have a random seedling of poor quality. The ax is one possible fix and replace her with a known strain. I'm not fond of grafting as I like to use the root-suckers for propagation.

Did you taste them?

A picture of a single leaf will help too...
