A fellow forum member eatmoreyeah has a bunch of really nice cuttings for sale on Ebay. I purchased some cuttings from him and can recommend them.

Hi Tony, it's really nice of you to recommend Charles, I have purchased from Charles also, he is a great person and fig person, I trust what he sells is the real deal from what other members have told me and I know my purchases are real healthy. But one word of caution when you recommend someone, make sure that what you have purchased from the seller is healthy, the cuttings rooted and turned into a nice plant, and you obtained fruit from the plant, and it turned out to be the real deal. My cuttings from Charles have not produced fruit as of today but I can recommend his sales because of the confidence of others that have purchased from him which produced fruit and turned out to be the true variety. Sorry, long winded, but just a word of caution for recommending sellers. There are shady fig sellers on ebay who give really good deals but one or two years down the road, when fruit is produced, turn out to be brown turkey or something that is easily obtained from members as a gift. Your intentions are good, and thanks for starting this thread, you will get some positive comments about this seller.

I felt confident to purchase from him because he is a respected member of the forum. The cuttings were shipped promptly and well packaged a very good length, girth and looked healthy. Thats what I'm talking about.

Just to add my voice into the discussion. I also have purchased cuttings from Charles and am planning on acquiring others based on availability. I am in the process of rooting his cuttings, which were received in beautiful shape and were very healthy. My cuttings from Charles have thus also not produced fruit yet but I am confident in him and his sales because of other trusted members that have purchased and recommended him, he is on trusted source / sellers lists and in my conversations with him, he has shown that he is a fig person and very interested in providing fig growing guidance / support to his buyers which is definitely not the MO for eBay scammers that just want to make the sale and then don't stand behind their product... JMHO...

I bought some LSU Champagne cuttings from him this month. He gave a lot of extras. I bought from him based on previous reviews.

Well he had Nero 600m pics in a thread a while ago that were his. So I jumped on it...nice to see others like his cuttings and service. :)

Charles is a great guy, and so are his cuttings and cultivars.

I ordered LSU Thibideaux and he sent Socorrow Black and Vasilika Sika (pretty sure) by mistake.

I offered to send them back, they were worth more than I paid.

He would not accept anything, sent the LSU Thibideoux, Scott's Yellow and Scott's Black.

I am very grateful and extended him an open offer for cuttings.

I've bought from him this past year, no complaints, excellent seller.  

Not only did MG Willis 55 ship some big Nero 600m cuttings, I got 5 cuttings. :) And an extra surprise....I am a very happy customer, very happy indeed. :)
