Before I found this forum, I ordered some cuttings on Ebay. Two of them are known to this forum as scammers; korina77-2008 and dausername1. I remember remarking to my husband how all of these fig people use the same kind of wax because it was red. I figured it was something special I just didn't know about. Now,  I think they are likely the same people. Interestingly, dausername1 offered to refund my money and that is in the works (we'll see), but korina77-2008 told me to "do what you have to do."  

So my question is, what's the best stuff I can do? I know I can call my credit card company and report her to the FBI internet fraud. But, I'd like to go further if anyone has any other ideas. It just really ticks me off that this is so dishonest. The worst part is, if she'd just tell me what kind I actually have, I'd still be pissed about the deception, but not as much and I'd grow it out.

just go to ebay and tell them they will take care of it they always have for me they don't want you to be unhappy you can do it on ebay site or you can call them.   good luck with it . the guy said do what you have to do ebay does not miss around they will take care of it.

There wrap sheet is over 2.5 miles long. EBay will refund your Money they know these scammers are all tied together but they bring in a lot of revenue so they let them continue.

Thank you both for these. She is so damn smug, I was hoping to make a bigger difference, but money does make the world go round . . . 

Update: I took the advice of previous posters and went through Ebay to start a request. Where I had been flat-out denied before, suddenly my return was accepted. Not the outcome I was hoping for, but certainly one I can live with. I really hate liars.

I wonder if ebay knows how many customers they have lost over issues like this....just a few sellers are ruining it for the majority.  I'm guessing that ebay is losing money because of this.

So, what was the issue?  

Wrong variety? Old cuttings?  Just curious...
