The address she had at that time was from Arizona. Then in Feb 22, 2017 I bought some I258 Fig Cuttings from Korina but from New York so I didn't think it was the same lady. But it turned out that it was the same Korina using a different address. I bought 5 cuttings on that date and 4 dies already and the one that is alive is rooting to something not even close to I258 leaves.

Now for sure I know I was scammed 2x by the same girl. Thank for doing all those things to get her kicked out of EBay. Also, thank you for buying my Figor Preto cuttings and I promise they are really Figo Preto. They came straight from Portugal, my best friends mother brought them for me in 2013.

My receipt from dausername1 and shipping return address on the initial package was one address.  However, when I shipped back the cuttings, I was asked to use a different address which matches the whitepages address of the seller.

If you can PLEASE private message me a copy of your purchase receipt and some of the items I've requested, it would deeply help me fight this scammer.

He's a good seller on eBay but not so good when making trades my suggestion would be if anyone does trade with him make sure you get your end first he thinks nothing of reneging on a deal once he has what he wants "Trust Me I Know From Experience"

Why do they graft the figs?

I know him well, he's a great guy and very dependable. Grafting is a very quick way to make a plant. I no longer root cuttings, I graft them. He is a member here and at ourfigs, What you order will be true to variety. If you get a grafted plant, you're actually getting two plants.

I think I recall willscfig, a legit seller, complaining that the scammers were misrepresenting their plant source by using his name or old transaction. Something like that.

WillC runs the other fig forum, one of the only 2 I know of. As far as I know he is as legit as they come in terms of accurate labeling.

Also remember even if they report they got their "mother" tree from a good source it doesn't mean the cutting is from that tree if they are a scammer. That is the risk you take on ebay.  I noticed some post pictures with the names of another seller on it. Most these claimed sellers sell a lot of cuttings so unless they keep track of the person/transaction than they wouldn't remember who they sold it to.  Also, you can check on ebay the sellers record of name changes if it is in the same listed acct. If a seller is frequently changing names than that is a flag. I am a buyer off ebay only, I don't think I would have the patience for selling. There are a lot of cheap people that want things for free or complain about little things. Not to say anyone on here is.  We all just want want have pay good money for..especially if the bidding gets crazy. lol And remember some people make there return money on selling their cuttings.  Personally, I wouldn't blame them after putting up the big money for a rare plant and the work they have to put into it. Its simply like the diamond market of supply and demand. Diamonds aren't rare..the are controlled. lol If someone paid a couple hundred for a cutting than I'm sure they would want a return but not flood the market. I think we all know this so this is why we pay BIG for the ones we want from the know sellers :D lol I just feel bad bidding b/c I know the other ones bidding are probably on the forum or are other collectors.
