My 'noid black' fig has finally ripened a few very small figs, which I almost missed because it seemed to be dropping everything. These were almost beyond dead ripe, but were quite sweet, and there are one or two that will ripen in the next few days, and they look to be almost twice as big as these first ones. Miraculously, the squirrels have left them alone!
The only thing I know for sure about this plant, is that I bought it from Park's or Burpee's about 15 years ago.
