need a close up but looks like fmv.

FMV. Little case. Put I nice bit of epsom salt. It give leaves a dark green color and I find most of my trees here in the south shake off fmv. Think it's the heat.

How mutch would be a bit of epsom salt for a7 gallon pot

You can feed them more fertilizer, epsom salt , and Water and see that it get better.

It might not be FMV mites, you need to prove them using x50 loupe,  My potted fig trees have  some leaves look like your because of FMV mites, However, I am in Canada, where I can not get powerful pesticide to treat them, I can not get neem oil , very sad to see those FMV mites hurting my fig trees, I will leave all fig trees outdoor this winter with sulphur/lime treatment and hoping that cold winter clear all mites.

Epsom salt is not treatment of FMV mites, FMV mites is very strong mites even stronger than spider mites, it needs long lasting pesticide to clear them and those pestcides are banned in Canada due to killing Bees. There are many bees in my garden now,  I wish that I can get neem oil to treat my trees and it is not allow here as well.

ricky, will not sulfur  kill them right now?
sulf ur is strong stuff.

>Will not sulfur  kill them right now?
>sulf ur is strong stuff.

Those FMV mites are quite tough, Need higher dosage of sulfur to control them, However, All my fig trees have young tender leaves, It burns young leaves badly.
It is easier task to do it when fig trees at dormancy .

I've seen more offerings of "bug fighting" plants recently besides marigolds like citronella, pennyroyal and even a potted neem at local nursery.
Is it hard to make your own concoctions if you buy these plants to treat your edibles or you (in case of mosquito repellent)? I know they may not be as strong as commercial products but I have grown some pennyroyal before and it did work for me against mosquitoes and scent not as harsh for me as citronella. It was easy to pinch off a few leaves and rub on skin before I moved thru garden. I kept by the door to keep them from coming in house. I never found a "recipe" for a salve.
I guess if you have a nursery in Canada that has more "exotic" plants it may be possible to make your own solution.

Chrysanthemum cinerariifolium  work well to control FMV mites but not able to clear them, However, I do not know which daisy flower have them, I used bug-be-gone product contains one dry daisy flower in 500ml vegetable oil, It did kill mites but oil is bad at this time of year, Under strong sun, it burns leaves even worse than mite damages.

I have Rhubarb in my garden, Its leaves should be poison and people use it to kill aphids/mites, However, Canadian Strawberry Rhubarb, Its leaves is not poison and thousands aphids on it now.

You are right, I should buy right type of daisy flower seeds and plant them next year, If you know what plant are mites repellent, please let me know.

I have to look it up but I did see an article once about making your own stuff, I thought I saved it.
I remember it saying tomato leaves and tobacco both have nicotine in them and are used to make insect sprays but I dont recall for what pests offhand.
The good thing is once you know the parts of the plants to use, I think they get combined with simple things like dechlorinated water, oil and dish soap. You wont look like a mad scientist or be on government radar for trying to help your plants. LOL

FMV. Nutrient deficiency.

Thanks for all the feedback. Seems Neem oil is the way to go to eliminate FMV. I'm certain it's FMV.

Hi,
Are you planning to plant that tree in ground ?
If so do it now.
For me the pot is too small and the tree can't absorb all it wants hence this look that IMO is due to nutrient deficiency.
I have one in a small pot that looks like that. I'm sure the dirt is depleted . I need to pot her up ... But from memory, mine is from a strain that I want to get rid of ... So not potting her up for now.
