Is Figo Preto do Cedo = Figo Preto = Black Madeira?? 

I am looking to buy one. Please advise.

Lots of people believe Preto to be the same as BM.  That's about all I know, I have both a Preto and BM and haven't seen enough evidence to support that.  My preto has put on much more growth and fruit than my BM.  Never heard of Figo Preto do Cedo.

i tried to google translate the meaning, i think it meant "Early Black Fig"... do Cedo meant early in Portuguese i think

It's a good looking fig but not sure the shape typifies the FP.... Nothing wrong with buying it for its own virtues though I would caution on drawing the conclusion that FP and this fig are exactly the same unless someone else with subject matter expertise has strong information corroborating it; otherwise the risk of further distributing mislabeled plants becomes greater...

Is it worth spending MYR280 (USD65) on an unknown variety? Unless it is a Figo Preto or Black Madeira, I would spend that USD65 in a heartbeat... The cheapest BM i saw was MYR350 (USD80) here.
