The little Filacciano tree that I started in February 2015 had its first few figs ripen up this past month. The figs are green, with a bright red interior. Sweet, bright fruity flavor, with some seed crunch. Flavor is somewhat like a melon and somewhat like a raspberry. Hard to explain this one, tastes different from any of the others I have so far.
Since it was a main crop, I guess we must have the wasp here in the Bay Area. Wasn't sure whether we did or not before now.
