Fox urine granules

Has anyone had any luck using fox urine granules as a deterrent to small critters. I have a fig loving skunk having his way with my ripening figs. I don't think trapping is an option. Thanks in advance for your thoughts and suggestions.

I have no experience with the granules but I have used the liquid form in 3 oz bottles on my sweet corn in the past and it worked great. Just a few drops on the outside of my corn rows here and there and my pest problem disappeared. I reapply every 3-4 days...or if it rains. A little goes a long way. The 3 oz bottles last me 2-3 seasons.

Hi DaveL,
Unfortunately trapping and eliminating is what is more efficient.
Think about this : You should remove "just one" now, but maybe 10 in 3 years, "because you didn't act swiftly" ... Think about your neighbors, what will they think "of you feeding/raising such a herd".
Moreover one can be discrete while disposing of one beast; but 10 ... other people will notice it, and you may get troubles .
Those beasts have their own place, in the wild... Not in my garden or backyard .
You'll do as you want, of course :) .
Fencing the trees could be an option of course .

Have u tried Organza bags?

Thanks everyone for you suggestions. I ordered the granules to try that detergent first. While I saw a skunk in the orchard, what ever it is is climbing the trees to get at higher figs. Not sure if skunks climb, I am now leaning to raccoon. Yes Eli, I have been using organza bags. Whatever it is chews thru or just opens it up.
