I purchased this tree in March of last year as a Galicia Negra off of ebay. Does anyone recognize this variety. The leaf pattern is pretty distinct but it does not look like the leaf patterns I find online for this variety.

I have 4 small GN trees, I think you have true Galicia Negrathe top leaf is more rounded which is negtive leaf patternthe big leaf in second pic is positive leaf patternGalicia Negra is very fast growerGood luck
Looks good to me
Your tree matches the leafs from mine. Yours is the real deal.enjoy,
I guess this is one of those varieties that really transforms its leaves as the tree matures. They looked nothing like this when I received it and I could not find an example of the mature leave online. It doesn't look like it will be producing any figs this year.
That is a cool looking leaf
Looks like my GN. Large leaves. We are enjoying some really great fruit now in its 2 nd year in ground
Another plus, closed eye and split resistant in humid weather
Niiiiice, thats what I wanted to see!!
Galicia Negra and Battaglia Green are my two best figs so far this year.
Got my GN from a local nursery here.the plant is quite young and i can't confirm whether it is a true variety.is the young leaves does look like this or it's doesn't?
GN was by far my fastest grower, not only taller but thicker than every other variety.
Updated photo of mature GN leaf pattern.
