I rooted several dozens of cuttings in my basement. The heat was 60 degrees. Most of the cuttings developed leaves, but no roots. I potted them hoping roots will develop. Any suggestions ??

Just be patient. After the leaves the roots will come. Only suggestion is to not fertilize and wait.

Bottom heat and humidity will also help.

Hi Sparky - are you back from FL for the season?  The view out the window looks like PA climate :)

In my limited experience heat helps - 60 degrees is not ideal for roots.  I put a heating pad under the bin that the cups were in, on low heat.
Have the cuttings that put out leaves but never rooted lost the leaves from wilting?  That is usually an ominous sign.
And if they put out leaves before roots, they need humidity to keep those leaves from drying out before the roots form.  Either put them under a clear cup as a humidity dome, or in clear bags or some closed chamber to keep humidity up

Good luck - keep us posted!

I usually leave them in the coconut coir rooting bin, brush off the media from the leaves and leave the bin slightly cracked. I only transfer them into soil once the roots appear. Some varieties take longer then three weeks, so just wait and let them do their thing.

I start in coir and transfer to cups. No heat, no humidity. I try to pot up when the first roots are no longer than an inch. I prefer to pot up just before they push real roots. Roots before leaves, leaves before roots, either way they usually catch up to each other.
