Hi I was looking at this web page and really like what i saw it was a jam recipe so i started looking for this fig and could not find the whole name do any of you guys or gals know about this fig? Thanks for your time here is the web page

Hi If you go to home page then go to the right and go down to Previous post then click on 2011 and go down to you see figs-figs-figs it starts there sorry. Rich

Very nice article, the French really do food right. Makes me hungry. It's nice she linked to f4f for those looking for more information on figs.

Violette de Sollies is a the top fig in France."Solliès-Pont is a commune in the Var department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur" They misspelled Sollies.

Thank you all for the links to the great recipes, I'm like Rich, just need figs! I'll share a link to a recipe for caramelized fig ice cream. Lovely pictures on this site. Although there is much more there on the page, some of you may find the rest of the blog post out of the usual. So just focus on the recipe.
