How does Mamme maintain without pollination

After fig wasp left Mammoni crop without pollen and get into Mamme 

I wonder how Mamme maintain on the tree. And profichi too

Do they develop fruit without pollination?

I only know what Francisco has posted and a few articles I read.

There are different types of capri figs.  
there are caducous (need pollinating) and persistent (no pollination required). 
The persistent varieties should develop without caprification.  But keep in mind capri means goat in Italian because these figs were used for goat feed...lol

These terms were derived from Italian so should be easy for you to understand..
