I came across an interesting fig these days while visiting my village.Emerged from the stone walls. Here is how you are feeding?How to find water?Out of a house in ruins, stone walls.Very interesting. " class="bbc_img">

Great picture. It is amazing how tough fig trees can be. We took these pictures in Zafra, Extremadura Spain (approx GPS 38.41974,-6.417239 image of Irene with cat to show the scale of the sidewalk square pattern) The fig tree was growing out of a small crack between a building and the sidewalk. There was nothing but hardscape (buildings, sidewalks, streets) for at least 100 feet in any direction, so I have no idea how it got there Inline image
