 Larry, how do you de-chlorinate your water and what do you add to balance the PH? That sounds like a good idea. Our water company recommends boiling water for five minutes to get rid of chlorine. But that wouldn’t work with chloramine.

On hot days (every day now), my trees sometimes need watering every day which takes up a lot of water. Even diluted, daily MG seems a bit much. They get shade from 1:00 onward, but it’s still baking dry desert heat. I try to use water run through the purifying machine in front of the local grocery store, but that goes quickly.

Rob, There seems to be solid research that foliar feeding can make a slight but significant difference in plant growth.

bo3antar, those suggestions make sense. I’ll try just spraying the leaves late afternoon.

Steve, around three-fourths of the plants are growing great. It’s the one-fourth with a slower growth that I especially want to encourage faster growth. For example, my slowest, Gris de St. Jean has grown by fractions of an inch over the last two months.

pukzpukz –thanks for the seaweed recipe. I haven’t been to the beach in years. Driving takes over an hour. Parking there is outrageously expensive and even then you have to hike 5- 10 blocks distance before touching sand. When you consider gas and parking, buying Floralicious Plus is less expensive.
