Good video, especially for us in Canada, too bad it gets too cold here for me to maintain a tree that size. I don't think I can put the effort into winter protecting a tree that size, although several smaller ones work for me. __________________ Canada Zone 6B

thanks figaro. i need to know this stuff. __________________ susie wish list: nothing. i can't grow cuttings . right now, i have 6 trees showing no signs of fmv. i'd like to keep it that way' i was told that if i couldn't deal with fmv, i should grow peaches, so i got a peach tree to live with my clean figs.

i thought you just don't prune the branches until the breba crop is done. breba coming from last yr's growth, if you prune them in fall, you'll lose them. what i'm trying to figure out is how to make my trees hold on to the breba crop. all of them dropped last yr and this yr. only two left on the trees. __________________ Pete Durham, NC Zone 7b "don't talk to me about naval tradition. Thanks for sharing. My in ground desert king is 6 years old. It gave me more than 300 ripe fruits last year. I am getting concerned about controlling its size. This gives me some idea.
