How to root?

Guys, when there is growth (leaves) on the wood, is it better to remove it, or leave it on?

So...You're trying to root a leafed out cutting?Or...Your cutting is rooted and putting out leaf?

Root a cutting with a leaf on it.

With fresh cuttings I would remove all leaves and cut the tender green parts off, and just use the greenish brown to brown cuttings.

I have had some success rooting cuttings with small leaves still on it, in an aeroponic cloner with inderect light.

I have successfully rooted a couple of cuttings with full sized leaves in water (not in a cloner).

Stick it in a loose potting soil with more bark than peat moss, put a soda bottle with holes drilled in the cap on top. Keep out of direct sunlight.

It's 50/50 with green cuttings this way.
