Huge figs

Which varietal(s) of figs give huge fruits or have potentials to give huge fruits? and how big is big?

Someone told me the real brown figs from Turkey are huge, like soft ball size big, compare to the tiny ones we normally have. Is that true?

My Watermelon Wine strain of Black Jack weighs in at 1/3 pound...

just remember that huge figs are not usually the best tasting. I find that many of the Mt Edna type figs (Hardy Chicago, black Italian, etc) have are good balance between size and taste.

Wow! I didnt realize they get that big! So pleased my Watermelon Wine is doing so well.... Gonna get an A tier special spot in the GH this winter!

I'm interested in some watermelon wine cuttings if anyone has any in the fall. They look great. How do they taste .

My big "Black Jack" figs were at or near the top of my top 3 list this year. The others were Panache and Black Greek.  Size matters especially when having to pick 6-8 VDB or Nero 600 figs to get the same amount of delicious fruit you do from a single big fig like Black Jack.  I highly recommend it!   Oh, my LSU Gold was an especially tasty yellow fig as well.

That is huge!! How is the taste? Do most of the fruits grow to be that size or just some of them?

As the name suggests...Mega Celeste

Those are monsters, I'd like some cuttings too..
