I was down in San Diego in March at Exotic Tropical Nursery. They had some pretty amazing tropical fruits every where! I was in heaven

Anyhow, I saw a fig called "Hurricane" Does anyone have any info on this fig?

There wasn't any fruit on it yet and the trees were all grown underneath taller canopies so most of them were very "'leggy". I couldn't really make any comparisons.  I talked to one of the folks working there and asked them to sell me a cutting since I couldn't take a big plant on the plane, instead of charging me he said you can have it. It was really nice. 

It's now rooted but I can't seem to Google anything about this fig.
