Many years ago when I was in college, I took a course called plant biology. There are two words that I remember from that course: monocotyledon and di cotyledon. I wish I had paid more attention back then.
But as I read the posts of this forum, I have learned so much! So when some cuttings arrive, I will know exactly what do. Perhaps plant biology will come back to me ( highly doubtful, but one can have hope).
But in the meantime, thank you for sharing!

I think we all wish we would have paid more attention in class......... but there was that tempting thing called a social life....

I've been here quite some time and still have much to learn!

It will be fun to watch your collection grow!

Well,,,,,,If my I.Q. was as great as my fig collection I would be considered a rocket scientist.

But I'm still trying to figureout how to place squares into circles.

Those of us without a social life concentrated on biology. As was said of Hawkeye by BJ Honeycut: he's so preoccupied with it, because he's not occupied with it.

And now here we are in the dead of winter preoccupied with figs, 'cause we aren't occupied with them.

I never understood why someone would go to class then not pay attention.
