I grafted this on a Celeste root stock

online photo storage
Cant remember what it was image upload without registration

And another unknown is born.

was it Xinesa????

No. This is two footof growth with figs from 8 monthes ago. The choice of what it can be is Maltese beauty. Martinenca rimada. Or lsu Thibodaux. Not sure which one.

Nice leaf and stripes on the fig???

I'm leaning towards the Rimada....

Brown Turkey?

Rich I think it is an MR I remember a while back you sent me a PM telling me that you rooted 2 cuttings and grafted the other one ???

I just seen your reply. If it is its yours that you gave me. So does it look like yours did ? Leaf and fruit

It is amazing that anyone can look at a picture of one leaf from a very immature tree and determine the cultivar.  We really have some smart people on here, some of us (me) are just smart***ed.  LOL

Richie - please call/tag it an unknown until you know.

I dont bother tagging anything till its proven and even then i dont tag them. I just really know what i have once its fruited. I can go to all my dormant trees that are in ground and tell you ea h variety. Poted plants are the same. I know what i have if i dont know i will know at a later time. YES I AM A TRUE OCD VICTIM. YOUR THINKING HE DOES,KNOW EVERYTHING. BUT I DO ;-) ROOTED CUTTINGS ARE ALL MARKED... THAT WOULD JUST BE CRAZY IF I COULD LOOK AT A CUP AND SAY THATS SUCH AND SUCH. OK. HAD TO MUCH COFFEE. GOOD MORNING GUYS
RICHIE

Richie you started this thread with a "I can't remember what it was" statement so your last statement is a total contradiction.  Not tagging or identifying plants, trees, cuttings is irresponsible and as such, everything you sell or trade is suspect.  I would urge you to do the community a favor an tag stuff.

Some stuff is tagged my in ground fig used to have signs. I went to a map of field. Dont have to look at it. I really know my field. Only had one person her complain and she ended up being wrong complained before tree had fruit and was still in a cup rooting. I was kind of just being silly a bit my pots are marked but feild is not but their is a map if needed. I will mark everything. Wood signs were made. Look like a grave yard. You can go to old post and check it out. I have not seen this graft fruit but once i have i will know what it is but tag the branch
Thanks for your concern. Need to have back up tags to go with map

BTW I PERSONALLY THINK THIS GRAFT IS LSU THIBODAUX. WE SGELL SEE

The reason I said it was MR is because I had several that size put out a leaf or two like that and the beginning stage of the fig ripening is identical. But hey I might be wrong
