I've got two of the varieties, bought from an on-line nursery. They grow well. The roots have survived Z6 winter, though there is damage to the prior year's canes. That matters only if you are trying to get two crops, which I was. I'm not fussy about flavor but they seem decent. They are also not horribly invasive, like some berries. Roots seem to throw up daughter plants if they encounter an obstacle like a rock, but the number is manageable.
My main problem so far has been lateness -- ripening a fall crop. The first variety I planted, Prime Jim, hasn't ripened much of its crop before weather gets cold. So I'm trying Prime Ark Freedom, hoping that it'll be earlier.
