Hi there! I just got some room for 2-3 fig trees (I don't have any yet :( ) and would like to start the non-black figs from cutting (green and yellow are preferred).
Anybody is willing to share? The shipping would be to SoCal, I'll pay for it.

Genoa White
Golden Celeste
White Texas Everbearing
Violette de Bordeaux (I know, it is of darkish color)

are the ones I like.
Would you suggest any others you also like?

Thanks!

Thank you everybody for your input!
And yes, you are correct, I should have introduced myself first, I guess I was too excited to post.
I live near Los Angeles, the Sunset zone 21. I don't think we have any frost often here, maybe once every 5-6 years (Mango is not recommended to grow).
The climate is dry, all the non-native CA plants are on a watering schedule (except the older established trees).
I've got a number of citrus plants (lemons, oranges), camellias, and young persimmons and an avocado (no fruits last year yet). I would like to plant some tropical fruit trees in the ground and figs are at the top of my list. I think green would be the best for the area since we have A LOT of squirrels and birds, although I would appreciate any suggestions here!
I have a small black mission fig in a pot, it fruited last year (~7-8 figs) but was raided by birds so I managed to have peak inside and see pink flash :(

I looked at the available fig cuttings published list. It is impressive! My understanding is that I have to donate $20 first, right? And then select the desirable varieties which I may or may not get since I joined the forum recently.
So my thinking was to get in touch with people on the board and to buy (or trade) a couple of the cuttings of known variety.
I can trade for Fuyu persimmon cuttings; wild Alpine strawberries (my 1 month old germination is about 80%); Meyer and Eureka lemon budwood (you have to live in CA for this trade). I have a lot of camellias of different colors but never tried to propagate them so you must know what you are doing and to ask for from me in this case.

Anyway, please let me know what else you want to know!

Confused?? In your first post you said you didn't have any fig trees now you said you have had a fig tree for a least a year. Can you explain? No offense but maybe I'm not reading it right.
