Melanzana "Not"(?) AF

Bird knock off fig that was in Gozanga bag. Could do with another one or 2 days ripening. Weather have been rainy & cooler days like 22*C daytime and nights down to 10*C. Overall taste was still high quality. Tree loaded with figs. Reliable yearly for over 10 years.

Nice fig. Resembles "Longue d'aout" as Melanzana does.
The question that arises then is ... Why is a "not" in the name ?

Pictures from this afternoon. Bountiful - more ripen on trees where I need a small step ladder.

Beginning to have enough figs for the season. Would open up for more friends to pick as much as they want this weekend.
