I recently saw up for bid a montenegro fig tree. It sounded like a good one to have. When i did some research there was not much out there just people looking for it to aquire. So out of a whim i bought it cheap. $21 thats all i paid. Either it went under the radar or no body wanted it. So is there some one out there that can give more info on it? The only thing i know is the listing said montenegro fig tree. Dont know what color, size of fig, where it's from. I asked the seller but have not heard from him. I should be getting this tree this week.

Appreciate the link but it doesn't tell you anything about the montenegro fig. I just hope i got a good one. Supposedly theres a green and dark montenegro fig tree. Just dont know which one i have. Guess ill have to wait till next year to find out. I dont even have the tree yet or rather call it a rooted cutting.

Montenegro is on the Adriatic coast. My 2 cents on a white fig... In the stella or Dalmatie family.

Blue, thats the one i got. Green outside red inside. I bought it off of plant creator also. He said it came from marius. So ross gave me your post i read it. You said its a different flavor for each fig you eat. Sounds very interesting. I cant wait actually. It sounds like a winner in my book. Butvi also heard that the same fig can taste different when grown in different parts of the country. Im in Chicago so it may not have the same effect for me. We'll see. Blue i do have to say your fruit looks delicious tho!!!
