My first LMF

My first fig this season in E. TN Hail was coming so I picked my LMF Breba a day early. Still wonderful. Deep  purple color, rich taste and not sugar sweet but just right. Wonderful taste, figgy not berry. I have 3 main crop a few weeks away. Can't wait.

Sorry about the naive question but, what does LMF abbreviation stand for please?

You asked my question. Lol 😂. I have no clue

Probably very ovios but I have too admit I don't know either
It's ok to use abbreviations in the title, but it would be nice to use the full name at list once in the first post

Little Miss Figgy? I call it LMF as well.

Sorry Little Miss Figgie!

Thank you to Figgysid1 and JMRTSUS.
All is clear now .

Should have known that , soooo easy!

Looking good, I can't wait to try a fig from the LMF that I got from you!

It seems to be a vigorous grower, but stays very compact.

Has all of the rain we've been getting this year changed the flavor of your figs?

Can't say as I have only had the one LMF. We have had almost 4 inches in three days here. My Celeste and LSU Gold will be next and I hope they are not affected. Last year the drought wiped out most of my figs. This year I am building an Ark!

Ooh I love figgy figs...must look this one up. thanks for sharing JMRTSUS.

My miss figgy is on it's second year. No figs yet I did airlayer one trunk since it grows so fast. Maybe I'll start to see some fig babies.
My Longe d Aout & my LSU champagne are throwing out figs.

I did 2 air-layers of my first LMF this year...they were separated and planted on 6/28 after MAYBE a month, and this is how one of them looks today:

There are actually 8 new growth spots in this section, one is on the back side :-)

Looking nice!!!

Here's how mine grew from May 22 to July 6.

Looking really good Drew. Let me know when you are ready for more figs, I have extra Black Italian, LSU Scott's Black and Brandy. Maybe others, I had a good rooting season. All under 1 year old and in full sun now. Keep doing what you are doing.....they like it!

Seeing how this air layer is developing (bushy at the bottom) makes me want to air layer it again!

Looks very healthy!
